World Cup Wrap-Up
The 2009 World Cup was indisputably THE Event of the year. For the sixth year in a row, the event hosted over 300 teams from around the globe. Teams competed for five days at Fantasy of Flight to prove they were the best in the world.
Nowhere else can you find the most popular format and competition this fierce. The World Cup presented paintball at its best with teams from over 15 countries. The stands were packed for Championship Sunday as the top Divisional, Semi-Pro and Pro teams battled it out for the glory of becoming World Cup Champions. Game after game featured intense competition that left everyone on the edge of their seats.
The 2009 World Cup Webcast was the most successful yet. While the specific numbers are not yet complete, we did top 100,000 views for the first time. People from 6 different continents tuned in for all the action of the largest event of the year.
